New Sobrato Center for the Performing Arts

On Monday, May 22nd, we unveiled our new Sobrato Center for the Performing Arts at Via West Campus. Rick Williams, the CEO of the Sobrato Family Foundation, cut the ribbon. Funding for the construction of this building was provided by the Sobrato Family Foundation.

The new state-of-the-art facility is double the size of the previous performing arts building, allowing it to act as a multi-functional center that will be the home of our performing arts programs, sensory room, and tech center. Performing arts has been an integral part of the programs at Via West since 1950, and now with the new tech center, we’ll be able to serve over 3,200 participants a year in Via West, Altitude, and Special Needs science camps.
