Projects and Partners

Via Services Partners

Via Services understands the importance of partnership in the community as part of its mission to service children and adults with disabilities. With the influx of children entering the California Early Start Program, it is essential to have the resources available to serve them. Working in partnership with the San Andreas Regional Center, Via is providing speech and development screenings to help with increased need for early start assessments. We also work with many partners through our Via West program. Local high schools, universities, recreational programs and service clubs work side by side with Via Services to increase the opportunities for our participants.

Via Services Capital Development Project

As part of a $10.5 million capital campaign for Via West Campus, five brand new lodges have been completed, which allows us to accommodate 256 more participants in our programs each year. Infrastructure improvements also include a new access road, new 120,000 gallon water tank as well as a newly resurfaced sports court, nature pavilion and garden. These additions have increased the opportunities for participants to engage in physical activities and to learn about nutrition and healthy eating habits. Renovations are still underway and this year Via Services will begin work on remodeling the health center and construction of a new performing arts center. To find out how you can help with our capital campaign project please contact our Advancement Department at 408-243-7861.

“Bridge the Gap” for Via West Campus

Each year, Via Services covers a portion of the cost for children and adults with disabilities to participate in our programs. Low state reimbursement rates coupled with a challenging economy is making this gap even bigger. We need to raise the funds to cover these gaps so that we can keep our programs  accessible to the many individuals that participate each year. If you would like to contribute to Via West as part of the “Bridge the Gap” campaign, please contact our Advancement Department at 408-243-7861.

"Call to Action" - First Step Early Intervention Program

Via Services is dedicated to serving children and adults with disabilities and special needs but we cannot do it without the help of our community. Our First Step Early Intervention program provides services and screenings through the San Andreas Regional Center and our KidConnections program and for children in the community who are referred to us by parents/caregivers and pediatricians. A percentage of the cost to provide these services is covered by Via Services each year and we must raise these additional funds to support the program. There are many ways to help Via  “bridge the gap”. The community can help by making a donation, telling friends, neighbors and pediatricians about our services or talking to their company or business about supporting Via Services. If you would like to contribute to the First Step Early Intervention Program as part of the “Call to Action”, please contact our Advancement Department at 408-243-7861.
