How is funding for Camp Costanoan handled?

It is the responsibility of the parent or caregiver to ensure that all monies are in place before your camper attends Camp. Parents and Caregivers can pay privately, apply for a Campership, or with Regional Center Funds. If your camper receives funding through one of the regional centers, you must call your camper's case manager to request funding. Once the authorization from the Regional Center is in place, the parent/caregiver as well as Camp Costanoan should receive written notification. If Camp Costanoan does not receive the notification of authorization, we will try to make a courtesy call to the parent or caregiver. Camp Costanoan does not contact any of the Regional Centers regarding funding. No camper will be admitted to camp without their funding in place.

What are the drop off and pick up times for Camp?

To speed up the summer check in process we have a rotating system for drop off by alphabet. Check in times are stated on your camper's confirmation. All Group Homes check in time is at 2:30 p.m. Campers will not be allowed to check in prior to their designated time. However, all campers may check in any time after their designated check in time.

When is my camper's paperwork due?

It is very important for all campers to have their paperwork in place as far in advance as possible. We are requesting that your camper's paperwork be turned in at least two weeks prior to their first day. A deadline for all needed paperwork will be on all confirmations. You will receive confirmations via mail. The Application form is required to be filled out yearly, the Parent Medical form every 6 months and the Physician's Medical form every two years.

Does Camp Costanoan provide transportation to Camp?

The parent or caregiver of the camper must provide all transportation to and from Camp Costanoan.
